- Kyoto Gyoen
Kyoto Gyoen time.
Sunset, shadow, gate, walls and trees.
Kyoto Gyoen feels epic.
Wide, quiet, open spaces. Greenery and flowers. Spring is a great season to be at Kyoto gyoen.
I didn’t know they existed. This one still has buds that have yet to bloom.
You can see the fallen petals on the ground clearly.
You can spot similar walls in a Kyoto episode of Oda Nobuna no Yabou.
All that feel. It really is nice to be in such a wide place with very little people around you. Its relaxing to walk and walk towards an unknown destination.
I’ll visit this place again whenever I’m in Kansai in the future.
Did I mention that I like the walls and gates and the architecture in general?
And a person for perspective.
That’s the end of the Kyoto Gyoen trip, I’m gonna have to spend more time there the next time.
The walk to Marutamachi station was a short one, following that a subway ride back to Kyoto station. Shopping for supper and its back to the hotel.
Kyoto station’s underground shopping area is huge.
